Shift - Art Educator…... and Artist
In the late eighties, my half time teaching schedule changed to a half semester or quadmester. This gave me a block of time to focus on my art practice. My first visit to Emma Lake (Artist Workshop north of Saskatoon, started in the 50’s) in 1989 was a turning point in thinking about myself as an artist. This informal presentation of my early work was given to seven artists attending Sheffield Lake in 1995, organized by Milly Ristvedt.
